The Victorian State electorate of Ringwood takes in 28 square kilometres including the suburbs of Mitcham and Ringwood East and parts of Blackburn North, Croydon South, Donvale, Nunawading, Ringwood and Ringwood North. The Ringwood district comprises of mainly residential areas and takes in both the Maroondah City Council and the Whitehorse City Council.
Ringwood is a designated Metropolitan Activity Centre. It is an exciting time of growth for the community with Eastland Shopping Centre development complete and looking fabulous. In addition, the upgrades to the Ringwood Train Station and Bus interchange, has created a real community hub with excellent accessibility.
The Box Hill to Ringwood Shared Bike Path is still ongoing and will still be some time away before completion.
